Project
JupyterHub.nrw is a joint project involving several universities in North Rhine-Westphalia. The goal is to establish and operate a state-wide Jupyter service for research and teaching. The service provides browser-based working environments for interactive notebooks. These can be used by researchers, instructors, and students without the need for local installation, for example in research projects and courses. The project encompasses four key areas: the operation of the JupyterHub service and the underlying cloud infrastructure, integration into learning management systems (Moodle and ILIAS), tools for assignment management and digital assessment, and pedagogical support for the use of Jupyter Notebooks in teaching. Exams via JupyterHub.nrw are still being designed and tested in the initial phase and are only supported on request as a pilot.
